About the Teacher
Hi! My name is Amy Cromer. I am a graduate of Southwestern Adventist College (now Southwestern Adventist University), in Keene, Texas. I have been teaching for 22 years, 21 have been here at Wilmington Junior Academy. During those years it has been my privilege to teach a variety of grade combinations from K-4th, as well as some pull out classes for the upper grades, 5-8. I have enjoyed leading out in WJA’s Christmas programs, as well as on site collection for Operation Christmas Child.

My Classroom

I have a multi-grade classroom for Kindergarten and First Grade children. When your child comes into my classroom, they will receive unconditional love and a strong developmental program that strives to meet their needs as individuals. Kindergarten students will experience learning not only with seat work, but going to centers and “playing” what they have been learning during instruction. First Grades students will enjoy having their own desk and are encouraged to read, read, read. They will have the opportunity to grow as learners while experiencing a developmental program as well.

Our class takes at least 2 Field trips every quarter. These field trips are planned to compliment the curriculum and to give our children an enriched education.
